Tiki Drink Recipes: The Port Light recipe, a tiki cocktail.

Tiki Cocktail Recipes: How to make the Port Light cocktail drink.
This tropical cocktail uses bourbon whiskey and not rum as a base ingredient.
The passion fruit syrup blends nicely with the bourbon to make a great mixed drink to enjoy in the tiki bar or the tiki lounge.

Port Light recipe
Ingredients
1 ounce bourbon
1 ounce lemon juice
.5 ounce passion fruit syrup
.5 ounce grenadine
1 cup Crushed ice
Mixing Instructions:Mix all ingredients into a cocktail blender.  Blend for a few seconds. Now pour into a tall tiki mug. Garnish with mint and cherry.

Tiki Cocktail Recipe: Love in the South Pacific Recipe

Tiki Drinks: How to make the Love in the South Pacific cocktail tiki drink.

Watch out, you might fall in love with this tiki cocktail. This drink and can be a very lethal tiki cocktail.
This is a very stiff drink loaded with all kinds of different alcohols.
"This is kind of like the tropical version of the long island iced tea."




Love in the South Pacific Recipe:
INGREDIENTS
• 1 oz Light Rum
• 1 oz Southern Comfort
• 1/2 oz Banana Liquor (creme de banana)
• 1/2 oz Triple Sec
• 1/2 oz Slow Gin
• 1/2 oz Vodka
• 4 oz Fresh Orange Juice
• Club Soda
• Garnish with Lime and Cherry.

Mixing directions:
Shake in a cocktail shaker, until it's nice and frosty. 
Then pour over ice.
Fill with club soda to rim.

This recipe deals with cocktail drinks that had
some sort of a influence on tiki cocktails.


OVERVIEW:This is on of the first real popular
cocktails. It has a long history, dating
back over 100 years.

Old Fashioned Drink Recipe:
• 2 oz. bourbon whiskey (Jack Daniels, Marker's Mark, Jim Beam, wild turkey, etc.)
• 1 teaspoon fine sugar
• 2 dashes bitters (your choice)
• orange Sslice and a maraschino cherry.

Procedure:Mix sugar, bitters, orange slice, cherry and a dash of water.
Fill a glass with ice, add the bourbon, and stir.
