Classic Tiki Cocktail: The Painkiller Recipe.

Tiki Drink Recipes: How to make the Painkiller, a classic tropical tiki cocktail recipe.

OVERVIEW:
Want a different tiki drink? Try the Painkiller. The Painkiller comes from the British Virgin Islands, and was created at the Soggy Dollar Bar. Some say it's a sister to the Pina Colada.

As the name implies, this is a potent tiki rum potion, invented to "Kill the Pain".

The main ingredient in the painkiller, what gives the drink it's fundamental taste, is Pusser's Navy Rum.

PAIN KILLER RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS

• 3-4 oz Pusser’s Rum

• 4 oz Pineapple Juice

• 1-2 oz Cream of Coconut (coco lopez)

• 1 oz Fresh Orange Juice

• 1/2 tsp Fresh Nutmeg or Cinnamon (as a garnish)

• 9 oz Crushed Ice.

MIXING DIRECTIONS
Blend in a blender for a few seconds, and pour into a tiki mug.
Garnish with sprinkles of fresh nutmeg and Cinnamon.
